Winter Arc Head Start Series – Week 2 Recap
Welcome to Week 2! This week was all about clearing physical and mental space for the winter months, creating room for happiness and calm. Whether it was decluttering the freezer or creating a “dopamine menu,” each day we took a step toward a more intentional, stress-free home. Let’s dive into each day’s accomplishments and the benefits of these small changes!

Day 8: Cleaning Out the Freezer
This task might seem minor, but cleaning out the freezer helps make space for healthier choices and clears away any items that no longer serve you. Set aside some time to throw out expired food and neatly arrange what’s left. This creates a fresh start and gives you a sense of accomplishment every time you open the door!

Day 9: Creating Your Dopamine Menu
Making a list of little activities that bring joy is a powerful way to elevate daily life. Try asking yourself what you enjoyed as a child or who in your life lifts your spirits. Also, remember to include feel-good solo activities and ones with loved ones to ensure you always have an option that fits your mood. By identifying these joy-sparking moments, you’re creating an easy go-to list to keep you grounded and uplifted daily.

Day 10: Clearing Out Your Phone Notes
Digital clutter adds mental stress without us even noticing it. Set a 15-minute timer and go through the notes on your phone. Aim to keep only the relevant ones. If you’re worried about deleting something important, you can always search and recover specific notes afterward. The result? A simplified notes app and a mind that feels lighter.✨

Day 11: Cleaning Out the Fridge
Like the freezer, a clean fridge invites a fresh start. Remove expired or forgotten items, then organize what’s left to encourage mindful eating habits. As you restock it with essentials, you’re setting yourself up for nourishing choices that align with your wellness goals.

Day 12: Organizing Under the Bathroom Sink
This spot often becomes a dumping ground for half-used products. Dedicate some time to reorganize, tossing out anything you haven’t used in ages. Keep daily essentials accessible and tuck away other items for a tidy, peaceful space that makes getting ready a breeze.

Day 13: Tupperware Cabinet Declutter
Sorting out your Tupperware may seem small, but it reduces a lot of everyday stress! Donate any extra containers and keep only what you use. A well-organized cabinet saves you time when prepping meals and even offers a sense of calm whenever you open that door.

Day 14: Cleaning the Oven
A clean oven doesn’t just look good; it performs better, too! This task can feel daunting, but the payoff is worth it. Whether you’re cooking holiday meals or just your weeknight dinner, a freshly cleaned oven brings a renewed sense of pride in your kitchen space.
I’ve noticed how much less stressed I feel in the last 2 weeks as I’ve worked my way through this series, tackling a lot of projects I’ve put off forever!!
My intention with this series is to help you feel organized, proud, comfortable and safe in your home so that you can spend the rest of winter pouring INWARD on your wellness, your relationships, your career, and your fulfillment 💗
